Hi, I’m Taylor. I’m an occupational therapist and first-time mom of a spunky one-year old daughter. Going through my own journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and becoming a mother, I began to understand the major need for better quality, comprehensive health and wellness services for mothers. I became passionate about learning everything I could about pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and motherhood with a desire to help mothers navigate this beautiful, but challenging, journey. My vision is to provide a holistic and integrative approach to perinatal care, emphasizing a mother’s physical, psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, and environmental well-being so that she feels nurtured and empowered to be the mother she wishes to be.
I have a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman’s University. My career experience includes adult inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and home health. After discovering my passion for perinatal care, I completed Melissa LaPointe’s course, “An Integrative Approach to Perinatal Care”. From there, I delved into the areas of pregnancy, childbirth, infant development, perinatal mood disorders, breastfeeding, and pelvic floor health through a variety of specialized courses, books, and podcasts. Most recently, I completed Postpartum Support International’s Two-Day Certification of Completion Program in Perinatal Mood Disorders: Components of Care. My specialized interests include natural birth and parenting, nutrition, and clean living. Through this ongoing educational journey, I have increasingly felt empowered as a woman and mother to trust my body and instincts, and I want to enable other mothers to feel the same.
