FAQ

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance for payment. Having experience with the 3rd party reimbursement system, I believe that not participating in insurance enables me to provide better quality and more individualized care. Documentation is available upon request should you want to independently seek reimbursement from your insurance provider. Please contact me if your financial situation is a barrier to you receiving the support you need so that we can discuss your circumstances.

Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA)?

In many cases, yes. You will need to check with your insurance provider to determine what services are eligible, and if there are any other requirements.

A doctor’s referral is necessary to receive occupational therapy treatment. If you are interested in occupational therapy services, the easiest and quickest way to obtain a referral is to request one from your physician during your next appointment. I am happy to help you obtain a referral if necessary. You may also print the form below for your provider to complete.

Do you provide counseling/mental health services?

As an OT, I will screen for mental health disorders and address many factors that may contribute to mental health. Holistic interventions that we can utilize to reduce symptoms of perinatal mood disorders include education about mood disorders and thought processes, relaxation & coping strategies, mindfulness techniques, stress reduction, improving quality of sleep, and facilitating participation in meaningful activities. I strongly recommend that clients experiencing symptoms of a perinatal mood disorders be under the care of a qualified mental health professional in addition to participating in holistic OT services for the best outcomes.
